File Problems
If a JPEG fails to open, preserve the original, verify that it is truly JPEG, test a second reader, and re-export from the master. If it opens but looks damaged, compare against the source and check transfer integrity.
Diagnose file faults before altering machine settings. Keep an untouched copy of the failed asset and the original source.
