Keep an editable source, export once for the approved product, inspect the saved JPEG, hand off the exact revision, proof the process, and archive the accepted result.
Export separately for public display and private production. This avoids asking one file to be both a fast-loading thumbnail and full-size maker artwork. Use a single approved source of truth, version derivatives clearly, and record the product-specific decisions that shaped each one.
