Change one variable at a time and document the proof. Compare lighting, profile handling, machine state, material, and finishing before deciding the JPEG alone caused the defect.
A repeatable troubleshooting record states the expected result, observed defect, source version, export settings, profile, product, machine, material, lighting, tests performed, and outcome. This prevents 'the JPEG looked wrong' from becoming an untraceable conclusion.
Troubleshooting should end with a documented decision, not only a visually better result. Note what variable changed, why, and whether the correction was approved by the creator or maker. If the issue affects multiple orders, review the shared template, preset, or material batch instead of editing every image independently.
