Quality Control Mistakes
Approving only a screen preview, ignoring profile differences, or skipping a physical proof when a color-critical job requires one.
Evaluating only on a phone or uncalibrated monitor can miss physical-scale problems. Conversely, rejecting a product solely because an image looks imperfect at extreme magnification may misrepresent normal viewing quality. Use agreed acceptance conditions.
A proof decision must reflect the actual finished item under agreed viewing conditions. Looking at an uncalibrated phone cannot validate the print; inspecting at excessive zoom may overstate harmless pixel-level artifacts. A good acceptance record notes physical size, visible crop, color target, inspection lighting, substrate, and finish. Reject or correct the job before it becomes a batch, rather than changing criteria after output.
