Reference Charts
Keep a local table of product dimensions, required effective resolution, file modes, and proof criteria from each approved maker workflow. Do not publish a universal DPI chart as a standard.
A local reference chart should distinguish source pixels, effective PPI, output-device DPI, and physical size. It should also name the product and process for any recommended threshold. Without that context, a chart can create the false impression that one pixel density is mandatory for every goodie.
