Calibration Files
Use the exact machine or material manufacturer's approved calibration target when color accuracy matters. This guide does not provide a universal calibration file.
Calibration targets are meaningful only with a defined color workflow and physical process. Keep the target, measurement conditions, profile, device state, and material together; an arbitrary online test image is not a substitute for the maker's approved calibration method.
A color target or machine calibration file should come from the actual manufacturer or an approved color workflow. Keep its version and measurement conditions with the result. Do not use a random JPEG color chart as if it certifies a printer or press. This guide can explain why a controlled target matters, but cannot provide a universal calibration asset for every maker.
