Operating Parameters
JPEG quality sliders and chroma subsampling are encoder settings, not standardized production parameters. Heat, pressure, speed, power, and similar machine settings require the exact equipment and material documentation.
Export quality and subsampling are application-side controls; production temperature, dwell, pressure, print mode, ink limits, engraving speed, and power are separate machine-side controls. Record both sets in a repeatable job record, and never copy one shop's machine settings into another shop as a universal JPEG rule.
