Conflicting Information
A JPEG standard, editor export dialog, machine manual, and shop preset can describe different layers of the workflow. Classify a disputed claim first, match exact software or model versions, and prefer the governing standard for format claims or the applicable manufacturer documentation for production claims.
Example: one print vendor may request 300 PPI while another approves 150 PPI for a larger, distance-viewed product. These are not contradictory JPEG standards. Record the product, physical size, viewing conditions, machine, material, and acceptance test behind each requirement before deciding which applies.
