Applications to Avoid
Do not use JPEG alone when the job requires a truly transparent background, a crisp scalable logo, a cut contour, an embroidery machine file, CNC geometry, or a 3D model. Use the required production file and keep JPEG only as a reference or preview if useful.
Avoid delivering only a JPEG where the maker has requested a transparent transfer image or a path-based file. For a photographic design with text overlays, keep the type and art editable until the product version is approved; a JPEG can still be the final preview or a specifically approved output.
