Compatibility Questions
Can JPEG make an embroidery or laser-cut file? It can be a visual reference, but it does not contain stitches or vector cut paths. Can it be used for 3D printing? It is not a 3D model, though it may serve as a reference or texture in a separate design workflow.
What if the maker wants a transparent image? Send the accepted transparent format, often PNG, from the editable source. What if the product needs cutting? Supply the required vector contour separately and verify its alignment. What if the machine accepts only baseline JPEG? Export and test that mode according to its manual.
