Before you start
- A signed-in account and a United States-based maker operation.
- Business/contact/address details, methods and materials, equipment make/model, capacity and fulfillment choices.
- At least three finished-product photographs and equipment evidence for every selected production method.
What you will be able to do
- Prepare the application before submitting.
- Use the section bar and saved-state feedback.
- Track approval or corrections without submitting duplicate applications.
The maker application is a separate review process from signup and public profile editing. It does not automatically grant gigs when a draft is saved. Current sections are Overview, Business, Contact, Address, Methods, Materials, Products, Equipment, Capacity, Fulfillment, Verification, Agreements, and Review.
Step by step
Step 1: Open the application and read Overview
Use Settings → Roles → Make products → Start application, or open Maker application from the dashboard. Read the stated requirements before filling the form. The section bar lets you return to a specific area.
Open this screen →Check: You are editing your application, not another member's record.
Step 2: Complete Business and Contact
Enter the business or studio name, then the required contact first name, last name, and a valid contact email. Provide other requested details accurately. The business contact email does not replace your account sign-in email.
Check: Goodiee can identify the operation and reach the person responsible for production.
Step 3: Enter your United States Address
Complete the business address, city, state, and ZIP Code. Maker applications currently require a United States location. Keep private operational address details in this form rather than copying them into your public bio.
Check: Required address fields are complete and the location is accurate.
Step 4: Select only supported Methods
Select each production method you can reliably provide. If the form offers Other and you select it, supply the requested explanation. Do not select a method solely to appear in more searches; the application needs matching equipment evidence.
Check: Every selected method represents work you can actually perform.
Step 5: Complete Materials and Products
Select the materials you can use with those methods and the product categories you can produce. Distinguish owning a machine from being able to process every listed material or product safely and consistently.
Check: Methods, materials, and products form an accurate capability set.
Step 6: Register Equipment for every method
Add at least one machine for each selected production method. Choose the real manufacturer and model from the catalog, or enter the custom manufacturer/model when supported. A label such as Other or Custom by itself is not a machine identity.
Check: Every selected method has a real registered make and model.
Step 7: Report realistic Capacity
Choose your available weekly production hours, typical lead time, and preferred job sizes. Base these on time available for Goodiee work, allowing for setup, maintenance, finishing, packing, and existing commitments.
Check: Your declared hours and lead time can be sustained in a normal week.
Step 8: Choose Fulfillment options
Select at least one supported handoff option, such as local pickup, maker delivery, or domestic shipping, and complete the related packaging and fulfillment questions shown. Select only the options you can actually support.
Check: An order has a feasible handoff path from your workshop.
Step 9: Upload Verification evidence
Add at least three finished-product photographs and an equipment photo covering every selected production method. Match evidence to the registered machine or method requested by the form. Use your actual work and equipment; a manufacturer's catalog image is not evidence that you operate that machine.
Check: All required photographs are attached, legible, and relevant to the selected methods.
Step 10: Review the Agreements yourself
Read each Maker Standards Agreement item and accept it only if you understand and can meet it. An assistant-generated description of an agreement is not a replacement for the actual agreement on the application.
Check: All required agreement responses reflect your own decision.
Step 11: Review and submit
Use Review to inspect the whole application. Confirm the Saved result and fix the validation messages before choosing Submit application. If an error names a machine, method, or material, return to that named section even if the form scrolls elsewhere.
Check: The page reports Maker application submitted, with a recorded submission status.
Step 12: Follow the recorded status
Return to the same page while it is Submitted or Under review; do not resubmit just to request attention. If a rejection or correction note appears, use Update application and the available resubmission flow. Approval exposes the maker workspace; ordinary members view the approved application as a record and update ongoing capacity in Operations.
Check: Your next action follows the displayed decision and staff notes.
After approval
Before submitting
- Do not submit another person's work or stock machine photos as your evidence.
- Approval does not guarantee work volume, revenue, or a delivery radius.
- Machine-specific challenges and production verification are separate from the initial role application.
