Before you start
- Creator enabled on your account.
- Original production files, accurate product images, manufacturing details, and your intended earnings per unit.
What you will be able to do
- Complete the current Goodie product editor.
- Use saved-state feedback and the buyer preview.
- Distinguish publishing from optional or required proof verification.
The current Create a goodie flow creates a private Goodie product draft and opens its editor. Existing Design listings can use different section names; this manual follows the new product draft, rather than claiming there is a new-listing type chooser.
Step by step
Step 1: Open My listings
Open your creator listings and choose Create a goodie. The page creates a private draft and opens its editor. If draft creation fails, read the error and use Try again; repeatedly opening the create page can produce additional drafts.
Open this screen →Check: The editor belongs to the correct draft and account.
Step 2: Complete Goodie details
Write a specific Goodie name and Description. Explain what the buyer receives, its intended use, included items, and important limitations. Follow the field counters and avoid promising options or finishing that are not supported below.
Check: The name and description match the actual manufactured result.
Step 3: Upload the Production file
Upload the file the maker will manufacture, one file at a time as requested by the editor. Available methods update from its file type. Check its scale, dimensions, units, geometry or image resolution, and any companion-file requirements before uploading.
Check: A supported production asset is attached and compatible methods are available.
Step 4: Select Product type
Choose the correct product group and type from the supported taxonomy. If an Other or custom product option is offered, complete its additional description and requirements; do not invent a category ID or use a loosely related product to force compatibility.
Check: The product type matches what the buyer will receive.
Step 5: Complete Production details
Select a compatible production method, required materials, colors and size options where applicable, manufacturing instructions, and production readiness. Use the editor's supported combinations; incompatible file, product, method, and material choices cannot become valid just by being mentioned in the description.
Check: The selected configuration can be produced from the attached file.
Step 6: Choose relevant Art styles
Choose the styles that accurately describe the work. These tags support discovery and are different from the physical production method and product category.
Check: A buyer using those style filters would reasonably expect this design.
Step 7: Add and organize Images
Upload clear buyer-facing product images. Choose the intended main image and arrange additional images. Distinguish a mockup from a finished sample where that matters. Recheck the crop, image order, colors, included quantity, and any text shown in the images.
Check: The main image and gallery accurately represent the configured goodie.
Step 8: Set Earnings
Enter your earnings per unit and read the estimated buyer price shown on the form. These are different amounts. Recheck the estimate after changing the product or production details, and treat it as an estimate rather than a promised payout.
Check: The saved amount is your intended per-unit creator earnings.
Step 9: Review the buyer preview
Use Review and Show buyer preview where that control is offered. Compare the preview against every section, including images, options, readiness, materials, and instructions. Wait for Saved, or fix any Couldn't save error, before leaving the editor.
Check: The preview is consistent with the current saved draft.
Step 10: Choose Publish goodie and read the result
The current creator submit endpoint validates a complete listing and publishes it with approved listing status. It is not the supplier's pending-review workflow. Resolve validation errors and retry only after correcting them; a success message and the resulting listing state confirm publication.
Check: The site shows Listing published or the equivalent published outcome.
Step 11: Handle proof of work separately
When proof-of-work verification is available or requested, open the listing's verification workflow, add the required proof snippets and any recording or source evidence it asks for, then choose Submit for review. The listing can remain live while proof is reviewed; a proof badge appears only after the recorded verification decision.
Open this screen →Check: Publication status and proof-verification status are read separately.
Updating an existing listing
Open the listing from My listings and use the edit action offered for its current status. Preserve the product promise while changing files, options, images, or instructions. Recheck the preview and any verification requirements after a substantive change; do not assume an old proof decision covers a different product or file.
Before you leave
- The intended production file is attached; a display image alone is insufficient.
- The main image, selling options, and description agree.
- Required manufacturing fields are complete and Saved is visible.
- You understand whether the page reports Draft, Published, or a separate proof-verification state.
